Following the celebration of Mass in L’Aquila, Pope Francis opens the Holy Door of the Basilica of Collemaggio, a tradition begun by Pope Celestine V in 1294 marking the start of the annual “festival of forgiveness.” Pope Francis is the first pope to open the holy door in 728 years.
PRAYER:
God Almighty we pray for open doors in our lives, please in your mercy unlock every closed doors in families. Grant Divine healing, restoration, deliverance to all who are troubled today.
