FORMER ABIA DEPUTY SPEAKER JOINS PRESIDENTIAL RACE
At a time many had thought that it was near cul-de-sac for Igbos, given the abysmal number of them ready to take over reins of power from President Muhammadu Buhari, former Deputy Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Cosmos Ndukwe, also known as ManofGod, has thrown his hat into the ring, ready to succeed Buhari.
Dr. Ndukwe, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart and Bende, Abia State born business mogul in a terse statement made available to BENUDECHUKWU.COM, announced that his major objective is to return power to the people who are the original owners. The statement reads;
Apart from satisfying the prerequisite constitutional academic qualification, I am mentally and physically prepared to recover Nigeria and hand same over to the real owners – the people. When the people are enthroned, the minutest policy will contribute to rebuilding Nigeria.
It is the PEOPLE’S TIME. THAT TIME IS NO

Like I wrote on a few platforms yesterday when this news broke out;
1. Dr. Cosmos Ndukwe is not only academically qualified for this position – perhaps 20 times what the current President has; he’s proven to be competent and vast as an exposed man.
2. I’ve known him (not personal though) to be a man with strong opinions, great vision, capacity, capability, command of ideas to achieve results to having strong political will.
3. Another beautiful side to this is; whether he wins or not; Nigeria 🇳🇬 needs the calibre of MOG at this critical time to revive, recover, build, transform and reposition Nigeria for all-around growth.
4. The more the major and minor political parties have the likes of MOG, Kingsley Moghalu, Chimeendu Kalu, Donald Duke, David Umahi, Dele Mumudu, etc. the less of Tinubu, Yaya Bello, Wike, Kwankwaso, etc. in a pool Nigerians would have to choose from.
Dr. Cosmos is a better option too like Kingsley Moghalu and co.
