ABIA 2023: IS TABITHA ABOUT BREAKING THE JINX?
When on the 17th February 2022, Lady Ngozi Oji former Executive Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area; brought Abia Women to a roundtable under the auspices of EZUMEZU UMUNWANYI ABIA, many may have discharged the women as merely playing to the gallery. The women, an amalgam of professionals, top business executives, enterpreneurs and stakeholders of note gave a clear message that in 2023 women will no longer be used as decorative accessories or objects to be flattered. It is the expectation of EZUMEZU UMUNWANYI ABIA that women should be supported to win elective positions, going forward.

BENUDECHUKWU.COM has since kept an eye on activities of these women, given that power is taken, not given. In fairness to them, the narrative is changing. Many of these women will refuse to be buffaloed in 2023.

36 year old Francess Olisa Ogbonnaya (Tabitha), wife, mother of two, South African trained Political Scientist, broadcaster, media personality, enterpreneur is currently engaged in meaningful consultations to represent Arochukwu State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly in 2023. Ironically, she is set to rewrite the face of history as no woman is occupying any seat at the 7th house.

Recently, Tabitha raised her game, had the honour of being mentioned as one of the thirty – five women across the federation to be supported for Legislative Position by ElectHER, a pro – women for democracy advocacy group.
Tabitha, the convener of the Yearly Mentorship and Training Program tagged, “REDISCOVER YOURSELF MEDIA TRAINING”, that has offered free media training to new fewer than 300 persons yet, is pitching her tent with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to actualize her ambition.
Will Tabitha break the jinx?
