Darlington Nwokeocha, the Federal Lawmaker representing Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency may have completed the cycle and good to have a shot at the governorship. The 54 year old Nbawsi born member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) does not sit in the heart of all his constituents. However, those who can place a bet on his usefulness argue that his trajectory in Abia politics follows the path of honour and glory. Those who feel disgruntled about his 14 years as a legislator at the State and Federal levels label him a “waste of time”.
In our next report, we would take an academic excursion driving through the pros and cons of the road of Darloo’s political journey. We will also evaluate his chances, should he decide to run for governorship in Abia.
