NORAH: AN ARTIST OF LOVE, CULTURE AND DREAMS

Ben Udechukwu

When Norah sees local crafts materials in Aftica and African markets, she thinks deeply of how to translate them to tools of multicultural communications. Not many knew that the craft sessions she had with school children as teenager, the very inspiring bead and fascinator making classes, were modest ways of translating a local heart into global perspective. She built from the scratch, a community of people who would feel excited representing cultures distant and distinctively unique from their original culture, using event planning to dispense love, culture and dreams.

THE ALLURING CONCEPT OF GLOBAL EVENT PLANNING

When you visualise an European groom in the traditional Ishiagu of the Igbos of Nigeria, a Nigerian bride with the breathtaking British attire, a Nigerian bride rocking the exquisite Ghana fabrics, you set the stage of canvas for storytelling, translating weddings/events into a simplified picture of the beauty of art, culture and diversity. Norax Event Planning is the vehicle that drives local purposes that interact graciously with global visons.

THE NORAH UBANI TOUCH OF EXCELLENCE

Norah Ubani was intentional about walking the global stage of arts and culture. Perhaps, her global exposure gained overtime as a UK trained Master of Science (MSc) in International Tourism, Hospitality & Events Management, facilitates a pout pouri of rich cultural ideas. Norah’s works stand out because she doesn’t just plan weddings, she creates experiences, she sketches her own designs, handcrafts beads and curates outfits that tell memorable stories of cultural fusion.

THE PASSION FOR ELEVATING ARTS AND CULTURE

Norah’s passion goes beyond commercial event planning. The scion of “Made in Aba Trade Exhibition”, sees her work as a way of promoting culture and creativity on the global stage, while also empowering communities.

Her brand, Norax Luxe   speaks luxury with simplicity, yet never loses sight of heritage. Every project she touches, every detail elevates African artistry while embracing global diversity.

THE UNIQUE SELLING POINT

In every sketch, bead, and cultural detail, Ubani Norah proves that weddings are more than events — they are powerful expressions of art and culture. With her global perspective and local heart, she continues to make weddings not only unforgettable but also a celebration of creativity and identity.

Truly, Norah is not just a planner — she is an artist of love, culture, and dreams. Norah uses weddings/events to create a sculpture of indelible memories that last a lifetime.
